This session will introduce you to teaching methodologies that can be used to enhance the student learning experience. We will explore different teaching approaches that support the work of David Merrill, a noted educational researcher and teacher. His work recognizes that the learning environment is comprised of students with a range of learning styles.
We will also address how to enhance the learner experience. The learning environment is dynamic, and the most skilled educators can modify the teaching approach in the moment to best support students and their learning styles. The classroom is part of an ecosystem whereby it carries the knowledge, values, culture and beliefs of each student in concert with those who are leading the class.
The session will present several best practices that enable you to spontaneously adapt to the learning dynamic of the students.
