Her educational background and work experience includes 15 years of HR management and more than 20 years as a professor and scholar who became a world-recognized expert in teaching and training listening. Her Ph.D. in communication and MBA help her use research-based information to help coaches listen well, hear more, and change lives.

Laura is a past president of the International Listening Association, and her research has been published internationally and cited in Forbes, HBR, The Wall Street Journal, and NPR.
