Yene Assegid, MCC, PhD, has been working in the field of leadership and personal development since the mid-1990s. She mainly works with Fortune 500 companies, multinationals, UN agencies, European Union institutions, and civil society organizations around the world. She also provides leadership coaching to executives and management teams, as well as designs and delivers executive leadership development programs for top management teams.
She is highly appreciated for her capacity to relate to people, create safe environments for effective learning at all levels of management, and engage in difficult conversations. Yene has lived and worked around the world, giving her a natural ability to understand diversity, the global mindset, and cross-cultural dynamics, all of which are key in leadership development, change management, and team building.
Yene has been serving on the ICF Foundation Global Board of Trustees since 2020 and is the current chair. She also writes on leadership. Her latest books are Leading With Heart and Rebellious & Resilient.
