Deconstructing and Reconstructing Emotions: A Transformative Coaching Tool from New Emotion Research
Speakers

Description
Recent breakthroughs in the neuroscience of emotion, particularly the Theory of Constructed Emotions by Lisa Feldman-Barrett, challenge long-held assumptions about emotions as hard-wired, automatic and universal. This shift has profound implications for coaching, where traditional models often view emotions and reason as separate forces. Our contribution introduces a novel coaching tool that applies these insights, guiding clients to deconstruct and reconstruct emotions through functional reasoning and embodied awareness. This experiential method fosters emotional clarity and unlocks new energy for action. Attendees will gain hands-on experience with this tool, leaving equipped to integrate cutting-edge neuroscience into their coaching practice.
