Toni Benner, D.ODC, MPOD is a scholar-practitioner dedicated to advancing interprofessional team learning. She recently completed her Doctor of Organization Development & Change, where her dissertation, Exploring Interprofessional Team Learning in Healthcare Settings (2025), introduced the “DYNAMIC Teaming” framework to explain how teams build adaptive capabilities through coaching, systems thinking, growth mindset, and collaborative learning practices.
Toni is currently a Health Professions Education Postdoctoral Fellow at The Cleveland Clinic Foundation, where she integrates Lean principles, Organization Development, and coaching approaches into interprofessional practice and education. Her work focuses on designing and facilitating learning environments that enhance team performance across professions.
With prior experience spanning healthcare, supply chain, manufacturing, and higher education, Toni bridges change management theory and practice to help organizations innovate, collaborate, and thrive. She has contributed to national conferences, peer-reviewed journals, and leadership development programs that emphasize generative conversations and system transformation.
