Kemia Sarraf, MD, MPH, RCC, TIPC, or “Dr. K,” completed her Doctor of Medicine and Master of Public Health at the University of Utah and her internal medicine residency at Washington University School of Medicine. Her career spans more than two decades and has included medical practice and education, trauma-responsive executive coaching and leadership training programs, public health programming, multiple board positions in the public and private sectors, and farming. Dr. K founded Lodestar in 2016, responding to the need for trauma-responsive coaching for physician colleagues reporting high levels of severe burnout, vicarious trauma, and moral injury. Her work has since expanded to include consulting work across multiple industries, leadership training, and trauma-responsive culture building.

Keith Skillman, CAE, is the principal in Skillman Media Strategies LLC, which he formed following a career in association management spanning 35-plus years, including 31 with the American Society of Association Executives. Through his consultancy, Keith develops content strategies and helps organizations create and express their content though publications (including guides to their professional bodies of knowledge), web sites, and other vehicles.

While at ASAE—in roles ranging from managing editor to editor in chief and vice president of publishing—Keith led content achievement in magazines and other periodicals, books and other information products, and research-content dissemination (via the ASAE Research Foundation). Keith also served as staff leader for ASAE volunteer groups including the ASAE ForesightWorks Advisory Group.

As an ICF Professional Certified Coach (PCC), Sunni Smith is the principal of her own
coaching and consulting enterprise that specializes in executive/leadership development.
Among others, she has provided strategic and innovative professional services for leaders
at Salesforce, National Arts Strategies (NAS), Genentech within the Roche Group, the
Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), and the UCLA Anderson MBA Program.
With a background in counseling, business, and law, Sunni earned certifications in Team
Advantage Coaching®, Emotional Intelligence 2.0, and Conversational Intelligence®(C-IQ)
as well as several other coaching modalities and assessments. She is distinguished as a
trained, accredited facilitator in Coaching Supervision and was awarded an EMCC

Francesca Smith
Fran Smith, PCC MSc, is an experienced leadership coach with a deep passion for addressing the climate crisis. After her own climate awakening in 2020, she became a facilitator for Climate Cafes and educational workshops, helping others move from fear and despair to hope and action.

Originally from the UK and now based in Brazil, Fran founded the Brazilian community of the Climate Coaching Alliance in 2024. She holds an ICF-approved certification in Climate Change Mastery and has increasingly integrated her climate values into both her personal and professional life. She runs workshops for coaches and helps corporate clients navigate the complexities of climate change.

As part of an international research group, Fran is currently interviewing coaches successfully integrating climate change into their work. She is thrilled to share their insights and the practical implications for coaching at this conference.
